California, known as the golden state, gives some of the spectacular and tremendous sights to visit. 1- Yosemite National Park

It is one of the most popular national parks that can be found about 160 miles east of San Francisco. It is situated in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of central-eastern California. It offers many adventure activities like from low-impact fishing to daredevil pursuits like rock climbing, etc. Here, you can explore many sites like Half Dome, Vernal Fall, and Glacier Point. This place is well-known for its beautiful waterfalls called Yosemite falls, diverse animal and plant life, Giant Sequoia groves, stunning Granite cliffs. Yosemite falls are one of the most popular waterfalls around the world. It is the fifth highest waterfall in the world which is 2,425 feet from top to bottom. The best time to visit this falls is in the month of May and June when the snow has melted the falls become a trickle and then to wait for the cooler weather again.

Big Sur is positioned at the edge of the ocean which has the habit of putting travelers into a trance. This place is located in between the Carmel Highlands and San Simeon. It is of 90-miles stretch of rugged coastline that gives many hiking trails that weave in and out of surrounding mountains and valleys. It lines around 70-miles of the famous Highway no. 1. It gives stunning views to the tourists. The main attraction here is the Garrapata Beach which is a wide, long, crescent-shaped stretch of golden sand.

It is one of the fun and exciting city in northern California. Golden Gate Bridge is the most attractive place in this city. Tourists can go for a drive, bike ride, and walk across this famous bridge and it gives stunning views also. Apart from that, visitors can also visit Lombard Street which is famous for its tight curves and also visit the Chinatown of San Francisco, which is the largest outside of Asia. You can also go for watching the infamous prison on Alcatraz Island, Fisherman’s Wharf. The city has also many skyscrapers which give mesmerizing views.

This is one of the destinations where you can visit at any season. It becomes a very popular spot to visit. It is introduced as the second deepest lake in the US. Due to its wide length of shoreline, it offers fantastic natural vistas. South Lake Tahoe is the most popular part of the lake for which visitors attracted the most. This lake became a perfect winter sports destination after the 1960s Winter Olympics were held on the North Shore. It offers many more activities like hiking in the mountains; boat trips on the lake, BBQs, swimming, along with you can spend days here etc. The blue lake covers itself with mountain scenery, beachgoers, campers, nature lovers, and so on. In the season of winter (usually from December to April), this lake boasts excellent downhill skiing in powder-snow conditions, sledding, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

The city San Diego is located along the coast of the Pacific Ocean and just north of the Mexican border. This city is having a lot of beaches to visit. This city is situated in Southern California. You can also enjoy some more attractions here like the USS Midway Museum, the San Diego Zoo, San Diego’s stunning coastline, Balboa Park, etc. The famous attraction in San Diego is the premier zoo of America which is located in Balboa Park along with flowering gardens and Spanish architecture. This city is home to the Birch Aquarium, and SeaWorld San Diego. There is also a theme park called SeaWorld San Diego. It is a classy family destination. The SeaWorld is located along the waterfront in Mission Bay. Here, you can get a chance to encounters some favorite marine life like Orca and Dolphin.

This national park is named due to the Joshua trees which are native to the park. This area is a delegated wilderness that encompasses two very different deserts. Tourists can enjoy hiking, climbing, camping, and so on. This park is a lunar-like landscape, where giant boulders and rock formations create unique shapes that capture the imagination. This national park covers the 800,000-acre area. You can also find Cactus Garden, The Cholla that stretches out along the hillside to the mountains, the giant palms of the Lost Palms Oasis, etc.

Successors of these trees from the Jurassic Period, these are the tallest tree among all the trees on the planet. These state parks include Del Norte Redwoods State Park, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Redwood National Park, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, stretch out along a portion of Northern California Coast. Each of these portions offers little different things, but all of them give a great hiking trail and beautiful campgrounds.

In Mendocino Coastline, the deep blue water of the Pacific crashes up against sheer cliffs and lap into quiet sheltered coves. Tourists are refreshed by the air and motivated by the spectacular ocean views. In Northern California, the weather is often cool and foggy, which is better for hiking trails.
