Appu Ghar is a huge beach-themed water park that spans one million square feet. It was opened by EOD Amusement Pvt Ltd in 2014. Around 2,000 guests can visit this park every day. The park got its name from the original Appu Ghar amusement park near Delhi, which closed in 2008.

You can reach Appu Ghar Gurgaon Water Park via bus, metro, or taxi from Delhi Airport IGI terminal 1. Below is the information on how to reach the destination.  

Bus

  1. If you are planning to reach Appu Ghar via bus, ride on Air 5 and descend on the national highway crossing. Ride on an intercity bus from Shankar Vihar to Sukhrali Sector 17-C.  There, take the 116F bus from Sukhrali Sector 17-C to Millennium Plaza.
  2. Ride on 801LnkSTL from Rang Puri, change the bus and reach Anamika Enclave again. Change the bus, ride on 116E and Debord at Sector 29.

Cost: It will cost around Rs 50 to reach Appu Ghar via bus.

Timing: Reaching Appu Ghar by Bus will take around two hours.

Metro

If you prefer a metro ride, you can reach Chattarpur metro station via the 534A bus from Express Terminal Gate. After that, choose the yellow line and deboard at Mellinium City Centre Gurugram. 

Cost: Reaching Appu Ghar via Metro would cost you around Rs 60.

Timing: It will take around 1.5 hours to reach Appu Ghar by metro.

Taxi

Booking a taxi is probably the easiest way to reach Appu Ghar Water Park from Delhi Airport. The taxi will drop you right at the entrance, so you don’t need to walk even for a minute. 

Cost: A taxi would cost you at least Rs 300 to reach Appu Ghar. 

Timing: You can reach Appu Ghar via Taxi in 45 minutes.

Aqua Loop

Aqua Loop is an ‘O’-shaped slide that drops you from 60 feet above to the pool within seven seconds, giving you a thrilling moment to enjoy.

Rapid Racer

Rapid Racer is a ride that drives you down on a two-person raft from the top of a huge slide, giving you an adventurous moment to remember. 

Pirate Station 

Pirate Station is a jungle gym with lots of water where you can relax and play with friends and family.

Crazy River

The Crazy River is one of the most popular rides in Appu Ghar Water Park. It is a long river where you sit in a tube and float. This river crosses the tropical jungle, giving you an enjoyable time.

Lazy River

Lazy River is like the Crazy River ride but has a shallow (2.5-3.5 foot) pool with a slow current. You ride along the flow, lying in a raft.

Oh My Gurgaon

Oh My Gurgaon is a tube-like slide that drops you from 20 metres at 60mph speed in just 5 seconds. You enter the pool with a huge splash at the end of your thrilling ride.

Monsoon Mania

Monsoon Mania is a dance floor where you wave your body to the rhythm of music amid artificial rain.

Appu Ghar Water Park is one of the best places to spend a weekend. It has a wide variety of water rides, unlike other water parks that please not only kids but adults and senior citizens, too.  It also has an arcade centre and spa for relaxation.     IAL gave up the land, so the Supreme Corts allotted this to DMRC to expand the metro and to the top court to expand its offices and Appu Ghar was closed.

        The original Appu Ghar was located in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. 

          Appu Ghar is open every day except during government holidays. 

            Appu Ghar is open from 11 AM to 7 PM every day.
