On Tuesday, Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum officially opened its ‘Museum Of The Future’ to the public. Labelled as the ‘Most beautiful building’ on the earth by the emirate’s ruler, the building took 9 years of design and construction to complete. The museum is a seven-storeyed hollow silver ellipse embellished with Arabic calligraphy quotes from the Dubai ruler. Thousands of metres of LED lights take pride in place on Sheikh Zayed Road, the city’s main highway, which is a short distance to the iconic Burj Khalifa Skyscraper – the world’s tallest building.
The unique design and the structure of the building

The building is designed by architect Shaun Killa of Killa Design. It contains 1024 pieces of art manufactured using robots to create a demanding shape.
