In fact, there are travel operators who’re waiting for this conflict to subside.
As per Travel Weekly Report, there is a fall in tourism sales in Eastern European nations. Moreover, it is also seen that the travellers are quite hesitant about travelling to Europe because of the war which is making people conscious. However, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) says that Eastern Europe is still safe to travel to if you wish to spend your summer holidays in Europe.
According to experts, “Over two million people from Ukraine have reached the EU countries only within the first two weeks of the invasion. While the UN expects the number to grow to four million by June, we believe that is going to happen way earlier,”
Moreover, EU countries need to be economically stronger to welcome and support the incoming refugees.
