The United Arab Emirates on Sunday announced the launch of a new class of visa, ‘Green Visa’, which will allow ex-pats to apply for work without being sponsored by an employer, according to the reports. 

This move has been taken, keeping entrepreneurs and businessmen on account who travel to UAE from all over the world largely. For high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and highly qualified professionals, traveling to and settling in the UAE has become simpler with Green Visa. The UAE Green Visa is the most recent of many such programs. 

It will also target students & graduates and sponsor their parents & children up to age 25 on their permits. The step has been taken to attract talents globally and boost the country’s growth. 

Who can apply for a ‘Green Visa’, and what powers will it bring?
