Anaconda is the steel roller coaster located in the Kings Dominion. It was first opened in 1991 as the first looping roller coaster to feature an underwater tunnel with more than one inversion. Anaconda Kings Dominion: Imagination Ride
The ride starts from the 128-foot hill. The train goes through the 144 feet plunge, twisting to the right, passing, and entering the 126-foot underwater tunnel. When the train exit from the water tunnel, it enters into the 100-foot vertical loop followed by a 90-foot sidewinder inversion. After the small hill, the train enters the first brake run, nearly slowing to a complete stop. This is the first part of the Anaconda Kings Dominion. Isn’t it breathtaking? Let’s come to the second part of the ride that begins with a butterfly figure-eight element consisting of sharp twists and turns. In the last turn to the right transaction, the train gets into a 25-foot double corkscrew above the water.
