According to the reports, the Tourism Department of Kashmir has launched a Srinagar City Heritage Tour Bus Service, which will give tourists a deep dive into the Kashmir-Srinagar heritage sites, including the delicious traditional food and cultural handicrafts of the region.
Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary of Tourism, flagged off the bus service. He further added that “soon night skiing and night Shikara activities will be started in the valley, providing new and interesting experiences to visitors”.
This new bus service will be a great addition to the exciting attractions of Kashmir, helping tourists to get a better understanding of Kashmir heritages. The all-new tourist bus service will include Buzhama, Hriparbat, Chatipadshahi, Jamia Masjid, Hazratbal, Buddhist Site Harwan, Pari Mahak, and other major attractions.
Both, night experiences and trips to heritage sites can really be something exciting and new for the tourists. But these services will be offered only amid strict COVID protocols, added to the statement. According to him, all travel and tourism members are fully vaccinated.
In addition to these two activities, the Department of Tourism also organises snow events in Gulmarg, Doodpathri, Sonamarg, and other places. This has been done considering National Tourism Day.
Also, tourists will be taken to some of the foremost attractions of Kashmir, which includes temples, mosques, archaeological sites, shrines and more. This is a good opportunity to explore Kashmir or “Paradise on Earth” deeply, understand the nature, culture and history behind the heritage sites.
