Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said- “the pandemic is still with us, but the world economy needs to be restarted and people-to-people exchanges resumed with no more delays.”

In addition to China, several other countries like Sweden and Denmark are also developing their own health passports to ease the tourism among the countries which is a really great idea to promote healthcare & to be vaccinated timely. In Britain, 200000 people have already filed petitions to introduce the vaccine certificate.

Moreover, the International Air Association also wants to promote COVID-19 vaccination. For this, it is planning, with its 290 members, to introduce a travel app that will collect and share travelers’ COVID-19 test results and vaccination reports.

Singaporean country will be the first to execute this app on London to Singapore Flights from 15 March. Along with this, 30 other airlines will be trying this app in the next two months.

To use the electronic health certificate, China launched the encrypted QR code for the governments with digital certificates to provide access to personal information. However, a 14-day quarantine is still required for incoming travelers.

According to China’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the country will reach Herd Immunity by the next year as 80% of the population will be vaccinated successfully.
