One Of The Largest Nighttime Show Ever Created For Disney Park
ORLANDO, Fla – Photos from the Instagram account of Walt Disney World Imagineer Medley came out showing the progress for the upcoming EPCOT nighttime show, ‘Harmonious’.
As promised during a November D23 discussion, the first of many barges were pushed out into the world showcase lagoon to begin testing.
Disney officially said ‘Harmonious’ is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney Park. Earlier this year, Disney described the show as a “beautifully crafted dreamscape of Disney images & music”. Additionally, created by diverse cultural musicians and artists from all over the globe.
Each barge will have a number of show elements including choreographed moving fountains, custom-built LED panels, colorful lights, lasers, pyrotechnics, and more. Construction of the barges began in January in a backstage area of EPCOT’s world showcase.
As decided, during the day, the barges fountains will be continued and provide new energy to World Showcase Lagoon before the night spectacular begins.
Disney was hoping to open the nighttime show this year, but the changes made by the theme park due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and now it has officially been forced to postpone the program.
The new date for the nighttime show ‘Harmonious’ for the next year 2021 is not yet unveiled. Viewers or tourists have to wait for the new date if they want to explore the new ‘Harmonious’ show at EPCOT.
