EaseMyTrip and STB Collaborate to Boost Tourism

EaseMyTrip Partners with STB to Boost Inbound Tourism

One of India’s major online travel platforms, EaseMyTrip, and Sabah Tourism Board (STB) recently signed an MoC (Memorandum of Collaboration). The event occurred in Delhi on February 3, 2025, with STB CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Julinus Jeffery Jimit and EaseMyTrip COO (Chief Operating Officer) Nutan Gupta signing the MoC.

This partnership, under which EaseMyTrip will offer its extensive customer base, digital reach, and industry expertise, will significantly boost inbound tourism and offer a better travel experience for Indians.

Under the agreement, EaseMyTrip will develop a microsite for STB on its Malaysia page. This microsite will feature comprehensive travel itineraries and information on the best Malaysian destinations

EaseMyTrip will also develop a series of destination-specific blogs, immersive video content, and strategised social media campaigns to display Saba’s cultural heritage, pristine landscapes, adventure tourism and other luxurious offerings. To maximise the impact, STB and EaseMyTrip will jointly fund digital marketing for wider visibility and engagement in the Indian market.

The collaboration will focus on tourism segments, such as MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), destination weddings, and wellness tourism. For destination weddings, special travel packages will be offered so that couples can celebrate their special day in Sabah’s picturesque locations.

The Indian online travel platform aims to expand promotional efforts to Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian cities and will deliver regular reports of travellers’ preferences and booking trends to STB.
