To accommodate the pilgrims across North India, Indian Railways is starting a new train covering some of the most popular places in North India across different states and cities.
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train on April 23 for Haridwar, Rishikesh, Vaishnodevi, Amritsar, and Anandpur Yatra. The train will start from Vijaywada and cover major stations of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The train will also cover popular places like Mansa Devi temple, Ganga-Aarti at Har-Ki-Pauri, Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula, Anand Sahib Gurudwara, Naina Devi Temple, Golden Temple, Wagah Border, and Matha Vaishno Devi temple, ensuring boarding and deboarding facilities at en route stations in Andhra Pradesh.
The trip will be covered in 9 nights and 10 days, including travel, accommodation, catering, security on the train, a public announcement facility in all coaches, travel insurance, and the presence of IRCTC tour managers for assistance.
