1. Ganga Talao
It is a famous lake in Mauritius, 1800 feet above the sea level and the surface elevation is 549 meters. It is also called Grand Basin which is located in a scheduled mountain area in the district of Savanne. This place is considered as the most sacred Hindu place in Mauritius and the most important Hindu Pilgrimage site outsides India. On the bank of this lake, a temple of Lord Sagar Shiva is located which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Apart from this, there are lots of temples dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesh, and Goddess Ganga alongside the Grand Bassin. At the entrance, there is a 108-foot tall statue of Lord Shiva which looks similar to the copy of the Shiva statue of Sursagar Lake in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
2. Mauritius Botanical Garden
TheBotanical garden at Mauritius is nothing but called as Seewoosagur Ramgoolam. It is famous for its amazing and long-running widespread ponds filled with Victoria amazonica. Firstly, it was constructed and designed by Pierre and abounds in an area of 37 hectares. This garden is located in the proximity of Port-Louis in the district of Pamplemousses. It is introduced as a national botanical garden of Mauritius.
Here, you can get more than 650 varieties of plants such as; Giant Water Lilies, a large spice of garden, Baobabs, Palmier Bouteille, etc. A pond is situated in the central part of the garden which is filled up with giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies, native to South America.
3. Black River Gorges National Park
This national park is located in the southwards part of Mauritius. It is a famous wildlife spot in Africa. You can find many varieties of endemic plants, animals, birds such as; Mauritian flying fox, pink pigeon, cuckoo-pink, kestrel, Mauritius Bulbul, parakeets, etc. This park is also used for any research work or study. This park is famous for hiking trails, vistas, waterfalls, and overnight camping. It spreads over 6754 hectares and covers around 3.5% of the total land area of Mauritius.

Eureka house is a commodious mansion that is introduced as the residence of the former aristocrats from France and England. This house is located in the inland city of Moka in Mauritius. It is considered as the largest house on the island which has 109 doors and windows. It is situated in scenic surroundings. It has galleries dedicated to the music, cartography, art, and the hardware of India and China. The view of this house is a grand colonial structure or similar to the embodiment of Pemberley.

Chamarel is a small village located on the west coast of Mauritius near the Tamarin and Le Morne. Chamarel Park holds interesting attractions which makes it a must-visited place. It contains sand of seven different colors which will surely give a surprise to you. And those colors are unknown to anyone because of tropical Mauritius. But if you mix the color of the land, you will get an amazing difference. The colors include red, orange, black, purple, etc. The colors evolved through the conversion of basaltic lava to clay minerals.
The Seven Coloured Earth of Chamarel is a spectacular wonder formed by the geological phenomenon. There is also a Chamarel Waterfall on the Riviere du Cap spraying water above 95m.
