India Launched the Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan App for the Battlefield Tour

In a move to boost the battlefield tour in India, the government introduced the Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan app. The Honourable Defence Minister Rajnath Singh completed the launching of the app. A collaborative team of the Defence Ministry, including defence minister Rajnath Singh, and the Tourism Ministry officials developed the Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan app.

This app offers insights into historical places, including Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield; Longewalan, where India triumphed in a war against Pakistan in 1971; and Galwan, the location where Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in 2020. In addition to these places, the app includes many other sites, such as Rezang La, Bum La Pass, Pangong Tso, and Doklam. It includes a total of 77 battlefield locations.

The Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan app connects users to a website designed as a one-stop resource for military tourism. Users can enjoy virtual tours with engaging multimedia content to learn about the iconic sites. Those who wish a physical visit can check the travel details on the site, including permits required to visit restricted areas.
